5th & 6th Grade

Mrs. Heather Martinez

“Students in my classroom know from day one that their voices and opinions matter. Their input is validated and discussed during classroom collaborations between teacher and fellow students. They are involved in creating classroom projects, establishing rewards, and planning events.  Students will understand how what they learn in class translates into the real world. Helping students understand why their education matters is important to their current and future life. This understanding empowers them to take charge of their education. My students learn how to apply Christian principles into daily life interactions with family, friends, and new acquaintances.  When students are given the tools to apply Christian principles into their own lives, we enable a new generation of Christians to go into the world and share the love and message of Jesus.”
